Booking Policies & Terms

To ensure we can provide the highest standard of boutique care for every pet, Pets & Places operates under the following business policies. By securing a booking with us, you agree to these terms.

Deposits & Securing Your Date
​

  • Booking Deposit: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your requested dates or wedding chaperone services. No booking is fully confirmed until this deposit is received.

​

  • 30+ Days Notice: If you cancel or amend your booking with 30 days or more notice before the scheduled start date, your deposit is fully refundable or completely transferable to a future booking.

​

  • Less than 30 Days Notice: Deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable if changes or cancellations are made with less than 30 days' notice.

 
Cancellation Fees
​

Cancellations made on short notice directly impact our team’s availability. In the event that you must cancel all or part of your booking, the following sliding-scale charges will apply based on the amount of notice given before the start of the service:

 

  • 30 Days or More: No Charge (Deposit refunded or transferred)

  • 15 – 29 Days: 50% of the total booking balance due

  • Less than 15 Days: 100% of the total booking balance due

Extended Care & Check-Out Rates
​

Our overnight pet sitting and "Honeymoon Suite" rates are calculated on a 24-hour period from the time of our arrival or your pet's drop-off.

To ensure our sitters are fairly compensated for their time and can transition smoothly to their next client, the following extended care rates apply on your final day if you require a later check-out:

  • Up to 2 Hours Late: Complimentary grace period (No charge).

  • 2 to 4 Hours Late: 50% of our standard nightly rate.

  • 4+ Hours Late: 100% of our standard nightly rate.

Please let us know your exact logistics as early as possible so we can schedule our sitters perfectly.

Holiday Surcharges & Key Retainers
 

  • Peak Holiday Rates: Bookings landing on UK Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day will incur an surcharge per day to support our dedicated team.

​

  • Key Retention: If we hold physical keys to your property, they are securely stored without address identifiers.
